We all know that the Town of Tonawanda is “a great place to live, work and play.” Now, it is also a great place to enjoy lifelong learning! That’s because, through an agreement with the Town of Tonawanda, all town residents now receive lifetime membership at Brighton Place for only $5. This community library and resource center, located at 999 Brighton Road, is committed to providing opportunities for lifelong learning and improving the quality of life for Tonawanda residents.
Over the past six years, Brighton Place has become an important community gathering place. From children to senior citizens, Brighton Place offers diverse and compelling informational programs for our neighborhood. We offer an extensive selection of books, magazines and DVDs for you to borrow. In addition, we host a variety of groups and clubs for adults, weekly story hour for our youngest readers and captivating workshops for all those in between. You may use our computers or bring you own laptop to take advantage of our high-speed Wi-Fi Internet access. The enclosed calendar provides an idea of the diverse programs Brighton Place has to offer.
Brighton Place is a registered not-for-profit organization 501(c)3 and we work hard at keeping expenses low and quality high. Since Brighton Place is not a part of Erie County library system and is not entitled to any county funding, we support our operation through several fund raising events including our annual fund drive.
Please join your neighbors and area businesses in supporting this vital community resource by making a financial gift to our 2015 Fund Drive. Your gift, in any amount, will help keep Brighton Place lively, strong and able to serve our neighborhood. Every dollar that’s raised will help us maintain (and expand!) our robust collection, keep our doors open five days a week and maintain a clean, safe, attractive facility. (Your dollars go a long way too--- with the exception of our director and librarian, Brighton Place is operated by dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers.)Please drop off your donation at Brighton Place any Tuesday through Saturday. Your support will keep Brighton Place open, providing families with an opportunity for reading, technology, entertainment and growth.

Save your register tape and help Brighton Place continue to raise funds for NEW materials! Just bring in your gropcery receipts to the librarian. Dash's will contribute $3.50 for every $100 in receipts. Thank you for your continued support!
Take your bottle and can returns to Bottle Junction at 1942 Colvin Road, Tonawanda, NY 14150. They will send a portion of the return money to us. Just mention you want your return money to go on the Brighton Place account!
